jamiequin
get an avid cable n u cant go wrong (Y) :D ← I just used my amazing bargain finding skills and for 100 pound i found you a set (front and rear) hydraulic discs. Not the best but you did not state what quality. :o :D http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/PROMAX-HYDRAULIC-DIS...1QQcmdZViewItem

JT!
Avid BB7 is suposed to be the best for it's price. But i'v found that mine didn't really have amazing bite and has got worse since i have been using it. The hold is great though, more than enough. TomN
Avids are quite good, had a go on one and they lock very nicely, others which are good are Hope mini easily find one cheap on here or on ebay and other hope disc brakes if you can find they cheap. Hayes are good i heard aswell.
PaRtZ
Hayes are good i heard aswell. ← My XC kona has a pair. Very ace except they heat up quite a bit when in use for quite a long time. I guess in trials thats rarely the case IMO I dont think that the lever is ergonomically designed for trials (its almost a right angle) and although provides plenty of leverage, its really *asking* you to use 2/3 fingers (Y)

This is on a mod btw  ← Yeah and there also less than half the price :P Get an avid mate, even though it's cable there amazing for the dosh. Easy to set up etc and work amazingly, great hold and the bite is fair good too!! Get a BB7, normal cable and an XTR lever and it'll work like the dogs dangles! nmt_oli
ive got an amazing budget option that so far is working real well and has yet to finish bedding in! only cost me £70 in total. Chain reaction sell a Deore hydro brake, REAR but with RIGHT hand lever, 160mm. i then shortened the cable and moutned the caliper on the front with a coulpe of shims and a 185mm hope mini disk! :P (this works as the same caliper is 20mm disk size different on front and back, the extra 5 is taken up by a 2.5mm shim.) The deore brake was £50 and the rotor was £20.
