Freddie
I advise you borrow a friends bike who does dirt, try it out for a week, then do trials for a week and see which you prefer. (Y)

JT!
Oh my god that's pure sex. Anyway, you know when you have found the right sport, so if your thinking of changing your obviously not 100% dedicated to the sport anyway, and therefor probably quit anyway. Try to keep your trials bike, but if you can't don't worrie, just do what you feel is right and always sleep on a decision. (Y)

steve sturt
I stopped to ride trails about 1.5 years ago. Went back to trials when the weather stopped the trails being rideable, plus insurance disputes with the forestry commision put a stop to the trails being ridden or developed. Went back to trials and it had changed my riding loads. For the better. Just do whatever you want to. Don't let trends dictate your life.
Impacted.
I say do dirt jumping, it's better :P (and more dangerous right? ;) ) I still think it's stupid asking people who ride trials bike on a trials bike forum if you should quit trials or not, who cares what we think anyway?
