Tony Harrison
I wouldn't worry, nobody cares what your I.P. address is.
Dan6061
ok..i also have a question to do with connection speeds.. I have AOL Plainum broadbands which used to connect at 2.2mbps..NOW it connects at 400mbps and I have not changed anything fo ir to do this. I still have the standard BT Voyager 105 ADSL modem..etc etc.. It's good..but weird
Haz
IEEE 1394 is Firewire, so unless it's connected to your video camera/external harddrive/other, it won't be doing anything. Dan, you must be mixing up Firewire also.
Simon
1394 is firewire, so unless you use the firewire, nothing is going to be sent on it. It wont connect at 400mbps, something is lying to you.

Simon
well..the connection speed says 400mbps..andim connected to the internet through it  ← Thats the max speed that device can take. That in no way means you are connected at that speed. For instanse, if you open up a USB device connection monitor, it will say 100mbps, as thats what a USB device can take. Its just the speed of the device, not what your using.
