Guest Aldred_85
If in doubt of whether 'bar X fit will fit with stem Y' refer to this list. As I research more i'll regularly update the list, I'll soon make a list of stems to match. There are 4 mainstream bar/stem interface diameters; 22.2 - This is the norm for BMX bars, and little else 25.4 - This is the regular MTB sizing 28.6 - Often called 'chubby' or oversize 31.8 - Is used by a few brands for DH purposes, but is also associated with trials bar and stems, notably used by the spanish 'M' companies. So heres a listing of the 28.6 and 31.8 bars set into their groups accordingly: 28.6 = Brisa Bars, Azonic 'Chubby' range DDG steroid Bars Tioga 'DH 286' 31.8 = Megamo, Monty, Echo, Pazzaz Carbon, X Lite 'Fatboy SP Sig', Titec 'El Norte'
Heatsink
If you're wondering where these bizarre fractional mm sizes have evolved from it's useful to know that they hark back to our imperial days: Just remember that there are 25.4mm in an inch and you can work out the larger sizes... 25.4 mm (1 inch) 28.6 mm (1 1/8 inch) 31.8 mm (1 1/4 inch) Hope this is helpful, Steve
