Lol.. what the hell am I doing wrong!!!!!!!

I want to become good and i'm now thinking its my upper body strength thats making me not able to do it :(

Hmmm, noo, thats not the problem

ok do this

1...roll along at slow speed,

2... do a little endo...very straight , not wonky.

3...when u come down back on the back wheel, pull up so that ut on the backwheel

4...then when ur on the back(brake locked, ) then let go of the brake and kick with your forward foot at the same time ...hop or rolll, ull soon get the jist of doing it :(

Nah lol I doubt that it's a strength problem, you just need to give yourself a little pedal kick forward to get you into the right position and then just hop to keep balance, it will look uber sketchy at first but as you get the hang of it you will be able to hop in a tiny circle for ages. Do you ride alone? because that would slow the process down, but even so, I had to learn alone and if I can do it you sure can!

Just keep trying.

Yeah i do ride alone. Nobody really rides trials in Victoria. My home town in canada. So i need to learn everything from scratch. And all the trials riders that there are there all "chavs" or fags that wont help u out at all... But ill try what u guys said. I hope i can keep my balance lol. Keep the sugestions coming please! :(

Um I don't think anybody should start with a pedal-kick if you can't even hop on your back wheel. Or can you already do that? Just do the endo, lock your brakes and lean back, then start jumping. Just keep practising, first you'll propably only jump backwards, then on the spot and then you can start practising pedal-kicks.

edit: by the way I first read that you had been trying for 2-3 weeks to put your back tire on your bike :(

do what joe said,

but as you come down and rock back on the back wheel, kinda jump up and back and bring your legs under.

you should do a hop backwards, then probably fall off.

keep doing that until you can do like 5 in a row (you'll probably travel back really far so don't do it infront of a road or something).

once you've got that feeling of (hopping) albeit out of control and backwards, work on making the hops backwards small and smaller, untill eventually they will be almost on the spot.

Then you can start work on timing your kick with the release of the brake (best practised towards a curb) but you should worry about that later.
