20 front 14 rear will get you a ger ratio of 1.42 (1.50 is the most desired gearing for a mod) So having 14 on the rear will be your best bet.

You can get a 14t freewheel. A few have used them and they seem ok. But you must have a flip flop thred on your rear hub. Unless you have a profile or a king or something then just ignore everything i just said.

I used to run 22:14 on my T-Bone 'cos I'm butch as f**k.

On an unrelated note, I'd go for 20:13, but get some longer cranks. All the power of 20:13, but it'll feel as easy as 20:14. Works for me with 175mm cranks and 18:12 on my T-Pro :(

They're not "too short", it's just that longer cranks mean that you can run a harder gear (and therefore have more power, which is a good thing) but it'll feel easier, because you have more leverage (so you can get to the power more easily :(). But f**k it, just run 20:14 :(

Megamo ran 20:13 on their mods when they used to use 175 cranks. However when I got my first Echo EM2 I had to change my gearing to get the chain length acceptable. I was running 20:13 on 158mm Monty cranks and got on just fine with it. I'd say 20:14 will be too easy (unless you're a newbie) and would go for 20:13. Or you could just go 18:12 like 99% of the mod world... (Y)"
