Canned
They hardly have the manners to reply to an email! I'm in Ireland so I'm not about to go ringing if I have a query... besides, it's no way to run a business to IGNORE CUSTOMER EMAIL! Unbelievable! I was gonna buy one of the onza 4 bolt boosters but now I think I'll go for something else recommended on here like an echo one cos I won't be discussing anything with supercycles ever again! disappointed! Heatsink
It's not going to cost much more to ring them from Ireland. That's the best way to contact them since their email is rather overburdened! Steve
JT!
They arn't the quickest at replying, but they do in a few days. Just chill or phone, it wont cost that much. Edited August 24, 2005 by JT!
Canned
no way - I mailed to ask a question and waited a few days, then forwarded the mail again saying that I had previously mailed them.... I finally got a response but then same again with a second enquiry and I still have no reply from them on that. I'm not an impatient person but it's not a good sign of customer support when you can't get a response to an email - and being swamped with email is no excuse, I get a sh*t load of email every day here at work and I get through it.... I don't think I'll be ringing either.... I'll just spend my money somewhere else
Blackghostknife
I rang them and they picked up the phone straight away and where very helpfull.. but this is just over a year ago when i bought my Maguras from them (Y)
Heatsink
Don't be afraid to give them a ring -They're helpful chaps used to young cyclists ringing up with questions. The thing with running a shop is that you'll sit down at the keyboard to answer emails, but as soon as the phone rings or someone comes in the shop, then they've jumped the queue! Viva the old technology! Once you've picked that phone up for the first time who knows where it could lead! Steve no way - I mailed to ask a question and waited a few days, then forwarded the mail again saying that I had previously mailed them.... Mark W
Bikedock's idea of "in stock" seems to vary. Waaaaaay too many stories of them not telling people stuff is out of stock and so on...
alexnessie
Hmmm, my experience with supercycles has been great. I called them up, asked them about stock status of a T-Vee, ordered via the website, had the bike 2 days later. Thanks supercycles!

Mark W
Not to mention if <name changed to protect the innocent> is away for any reason you won't get a super fast reply, as there's generally only one person who does most of the e-mail shiz... Just phone 'em (Y) I used to have the whole worried to call thing, but it gets shit done sooooooo much easier (Y)
Rich Pearson
I'm with basically everyone else in the thread; pick up the phone. I've always been satisfied with SS, because I've always insisted on speaking to a real person. Alternatively, you live in ireland? www.chainreactioncycles.co.uk... :P" Rich

Strangely though it may stilll call a fortune to call them as they are both in Northern Ireland. Yes funnily enough calling Northern Ireland from Southern Ireland is considered an overseas call. :P Try Gary at trials@bikedock.com, he will sort you out. Canned
Sorry to disagree with most of you but I won't be ringing. I don't believe it's good enough to not answer emails when you're in business. I'm sure they've read my mail and ignored it or meant to get back to it - I don't think that's good enough. If I actually place an order for something I'm sure it'll be sent and arrive promptly but I'm looking for something not listed on the website. As for CRC - make an effort man! they don't have 4 bolt boosters. Bikedock - have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. Bought my bike from them - arrived in 24hrs with 5STG postage and replied to any email I sent by the following day. Onza carbon booster - I won't be sending any money toward them if there is a viable alternative, there's other boosters out there and I think I'll go for an echo one or something else.... Their tough - if you can't run a business you loose business when people have the choice to go somewhere else.
trialsking 55
the supercycles crew are all top knotch guys and im pretty sure all of them ride and a few even ride trials. but they have always been swamped with e-mails i believe. i've always had good dealings with them and i've bought two bikes from there and tons of parts and stuff. so stop being lazy, and ring them. Tomm
Their tough - if you can't run a business you loose business when people have the choice to go somewhere else. ← Well then go somewhere else to buy your booster... If it bothers you that much that they don't answer emails, buy from a company who are better in that respect. But if you just give them a call everyone is happy - it'll only be like 30p or something anyway :P
