Lumps All Over The Place!

I had a lump in my neck, it got bigger and bigger so I went to docs, he sent me to hossie where they stuck a fecking needle in it *wince* and then told me that it needed to be removed.

I had a general and they got it out and did some tests to find that it was caused by toxoplasma, which is like a disease which starts from cat shit :P I've no idea how I got it, I dont really make a habbit of going round picking up cat poo.

Aparaently if I had it in my eyes I could be blind now B)

You'll be fine. If you get any kind of infection, it travels through lymphatics to lymph nodes. Here the white cells, fluid, bacteria, viruses etc accumulate and make the node bigger until the immune system has got rid of the disease. For example, if you cut your hand and get an infection, you get swollen lymph nodes in the inside of your elbow. And when you get a bad cold/flu/mumps, you get a swollen neck. It probably just means your body is dealing with something and you'll be fine, but if you're worried you should get checked out anyway B)
