Tomm
When you can give me one proper reason why V-brakes are better, you can use one. Until then, use a disk because they're better.
HarshRider
nethier one or the other is better (Y) its down to personal prefrence! i use a front v brake becuase i prefure it over a disk! using a v brake or a disk wont make a bike "streeter" or not (Y)

Tomm
you can't dropout stalls with a disk... ← Shuttup :P I knew someone was gonna say that! I just think that for the majority of people, a disk is better, but V-brakes are more fashionable on a streety bike so that's why people run them. Fair enough if you do dropout stalls though :) (I wanted to try the other day but realised I couldn't :ermm: )
rich4130
X-up dropout stalls then. :ermm: My front V is pretty good anyway, ask anybody who has used it, I can't see a disk having more power, its solid as a rock, very light, and only cost £40, it is rather loud though......
