The enchanted broomstick
right a few of you on here may know i now have a laptop with external HDD to play music through my stereo in my room. Now the cd's i have (legal ones) that i copy to my laptop need licenses and i dont have any means of being able to connect it to the net, is there a player i can get which will disregard these licenses because its really not that helpful if i cant play my music. Im sure someone out there has just the solution i need. cheers, stu (Y)
biketrialler
If you ripped them into WMAs then youre f**ked basically. Just re rip them again into mp3 - use iTunes...
Mr Motivator
If you ripped them into WMAs then youre f**ked basically. ← No your not, heres the story.. My PC crashed one day and I could no longer log on into my account so I set up a new one. I also had lost ALL my settings so had to basically set up the PC to how I wanted it again. When I first put in a CD to rip it, a message popped up in media player saying something about the fact that this CD had a licence on it and it is recommended to copy over the licence too, but there was an option not to. So I clicked NO. Now I can rip music from CDs with licenses and use them in many other things like movie maker etc. So, there must be an option in media player to take the license copy off. You'd have to rip all your music all over again but it would work (Y) Sam
