Disk Brake Pads?

Recommended Posts

hi people, just wanting to know, which are the best and most grippiest pads for a C2 disk brake?

Iv heard of a mate of some "red" pads, that are meant to be slightly softer than the standard pads, which give the pads a VERY good bite, just i cant find them ANYWHERE on the net!!

Just wondering if these pads actually exist?

I have found some Kool stop hope disk pads... but being kool stop, im in doubt that they are grippy?

I seen the EBC reds on Wiggle, but they dont have them in C2 options i dont think :(

The only options they have are.....

Mono 6

Mono Mini

Pro Open

XC4

Alllso says:

There are pads available for most disc brake systems and hardware is included.

What are the differences between the greens reds and golds?

Compound i think :)

Reds are soft

Greens are medium (used to wet/muddy/sandy conditions)

Golds are hard, used for dry.

I cant find the C2 pads on their website B) :- :P

I might just get the kool stop ones if i cant get hols of any EBC's
