Boothy
Hi As the title says, is this rim any good for trials on the rear? And is it better than a D521? Cheers
Tomm
They are OK, stronger than cheese rims, but not as strong as as a d521. And they're only 29.6mm wide, so you might as well use a d521 (Or Ex721 as they are now I think). Unless it's for 24", when they are a pretty good option (No Mavic 24" rims). dave33
they are about the same standard as the 521 but not quite as good, get the rhino xxl so summit a bit wider. they are nice rims when build well :-
Jonny Jones
They are no where near the standard of D521's (EX721). I had one, and managed to dent, buckle and flatten it pretty much all over, and I wasn't really riding that heavy.. just bad luck I guess. Great rim for really smooth riders I guess... just bad in my experience. Jonny.

Rhyno Lite XL's on the otherhand are a good rim - they are wider than the standard lite and also welded instead of pinned. Mike
011001000110010101110010
I run rhyno lites on the front and back of my Curtis 24. They seem fine, so far my BB has broken instead of the rims... Not too heavy either. Edited August 17, 2005 by derf
rich4130
Im unimpressed with mine, althought it may have been abit shagged before I got it, but I put about 4 dents in it today :P
