Matthew_Gibson
I'm using a dics brake and I'm never goin to go back to a rim brake. Is it worth cutting the mounts off the fork? I've seen Ali C bike and the forks on that look mint. But I some guidance in the removal. How do I get the big bit of the mount off? angle grinder or hawk saw? Can any one help me? Thanks Matt  Ali-C bike Edited August 16, 2005 by Matt Gibson

Tom Booth
as already said, grinder/hacksaw, then file. Then i used some 600 grit sand paper, then mooved to some 800 grit paper. Left a very nice finish :- Cheers Tom
