chrishayton
right i own a vinco and love it. its amazing to ride and has improved my riding quite abit . right heres the thing. people dont like high bb's due to the fact they loop out on gaps, on my vinco i dont have this problem. but when riding a few hi fi's and my mates GU i have noticed this problem . heres my theory, the vinco has longer stays than most at 385, the hi fi, new pitbull and GU has 375 mm stays. i think the longer stays on the vinco prevent it from looping out as much as the other 375mm chainstay bikes. what do you all think, in theory my thoughts make sense due to levers and other physics involved in geometry. chris

If its high up, like the one used on the Vinco, then the front wheel is closer to the ground because of where the bars are held. But if you use a stem such as the Hifi stem on a Vinco, then it sits more vertical beacuse its lower down, so the bars are still in the same positon, were as the front wheel is higher up. Its hard to explain. Ill try and get some pictures.
Will Arnold
just a matter of getting used to it... try out a mod with a short back end, it'll feel like it will loop out, but then once you get used to it, and change your pre-loading technique, it wont :shifty: thats how i see it... Mr Motivator
Personally, I think you may correct. My bike has 390mm chainstays and when I have a go on peoples bikes with shorter stays and try gaps I just end up with my feet right infront of me and my body hanging over the bars. I expect you'd be able to gap just as far one you got used to it though and then you woudn't like longer stays. Hans Rey for eg. can gap far even with his 400mm stays, but hes a lege :shifty:
