JT!
My ISIS BB is starting to sound/feel like a cement mixer now. So i need a new one. The one i have in at the moment is 124mm. Which is a really good fit. If i got a 127.5mm one I think the chain would rub on the stays, and it if was a bit shorter the cranks will start to hit the stays, so it realy needs to be not far from 124mm. So what BB (and length) would you all suggest? I want something that going to last me a while really. Price dosn't really matter. Cheers  :shifty: Edited August 15, 2005 by JT! Janson
cleanbikes sell the "monty" fsa platinum pro 124mm , for for 50+ quid, i wouldn't bother really. You sure the chain would rub with a 128mm BB? It's only 2mm difference on either crank, should not be a problem really?

Nice and light but not upto trial use. My chain is about 2mm away from the stay at the moment, but a BB being 2mm longer either side shouldn't make that much difference then you get to the backwheel end i supose. Is there anything in between 124mm and 127.5mm? And if not which is the best 127.5. (Keeping in mind that there can't be anything higher than the threds, Onza compatability problem) The one from cleanbikes and the £52 try-all, nither fits proporly. :shifty:
Waynio
no nothing in the middle of those 2 lengths. just get the 127.5mm and tighten your cranks on more (well as much as poss) Waynio..................... the FSA DH platinum pro is best. bout £40.00 EDIT: ALSO the new SKF ones will be out soon :shifty: Edited August 15, 2005 by Waynio
shovel
the fsa platinum pro dh and the truvative gigapipe dh are probably your best bets, they're pretty strong and not overly expensive
