Dan6061
Just been cleaning up the computer, and wondered if I can have an always on connection with my USB Modem ( BT Voyager 105, if you know how please tell) Anyway, went onto the connections..thingy..and a new connection has appeared that connects at 400mbps!!. I don't remeber it being there before, but when I disable it, my current connection speed goes from 2.2mbps down to 1.0mbps. I was wondering if there is any way of managing to connect to the internet via this. I'm not to bright at this kinda thing so you'll have to eplain it well if I can/can't do it. Here's a screenshot: Cheers :)
sfboy
Something to do with a firewire connection you've had? should have no effect disabling it though.
Dan6061
I can't think of any firewire connections I have..unless my digital camera has a firewire cable. But the connection speed did drop to 1mbps from 2.2mbps when I disabled it. :)
Extreme_biker0
Could be some device connected by USB 2. I con't see how that would bring your internet connecton speed down though.
Tomm
Nope that's your firewire port. You can connect two computers together using a firewire cable, but that's irrelevant. So no, you haven't found a magical way of making your internet 10x faster :)
