Waynio Posted August 12, 2005 Report Share Posted August 12, 2005 iv used 248 in the past on x517 rims BUT on a XC hub i would use the above 252/254 i think i used at one stage. Waynio.................... you get a stiffer feel with radial, i wouldnt worry bout hubs breaking, iv not had a problem with any of my hope hubs at all. and most of mine have been laced radial. it was mainly the old hubs with the titanium middles that used to pull apart. LEON Posted August 12, 2005 Author Report Share Posted August 12, 2005 I was thinking more 246-248 yea, bear in mind this is the tiny mono, and 521's are quite deep.
