Will Arnold
All this time all i need is a f'king half link for my chain. daaaaamn. ← how does that work?
Chicky
put the wheel as close to the bb as possible, then put a halflink of the chain so it fits as tight as possible. No room for the wheel to move and a tight chain.
tomass666
I join my chain, but I paint the link I did so I always undo the same one, saves the other links from being weakened. ← A chain is only as strong as its weakest link Do you not watch Anne Robinson??!! Tomm
A chain is only as strong as its weakest link Do you not watch Anne Robinson??!! ← Yeah exactly. I thought Ali was going to say he used a different one every time, which makes loads more sense to me. Anyway. I just use a split link. Have done with Powerlinks and for the last couple of years with the Kool style split link. No problems (Y)
Ali C
I can see your logic, but I see it as having one weak link rather than a few. I have tryed the split link on my bmx, didnt have any problems but it was always in the back of my mind that it would snap, I would never trust it on a trials bike. Simpson
I'm using a split link right now, my boss put it on my bike and he's been doing trials for years and doe's demo's and stuff so I just accepted it and it was fine!
