UCI Trial
Rather than place important news about the Fort William Trial at the end of a lengthy thread we thought it best to start a new one……………… For those of you that have not read the original in the news section; A UCI Trials competition is to run at the Downhill World Cup in Fort William on Saturday the10th of September. Entry forms may be down loaded from www.fortwilliamworldcup.co.uk Entrants do not need a licence. The first 50 entrants will receive a free weekend pass, (Saturday and Sunday), so not only do you get to compete at the World Cup venue but you also get to watch the Downhill finals on Sunday for free. Rather than use raw recruits we would prefer our marshals to come from with the “Trials community”. If you can help, mail us now at ucitrial@hotmail.co.uk If you are riding why not bring a friend to help out help out, all marshals receive £30. ben_travis
fort bill, is the best DH course in the country/uk/britian, hence why the DH world cup is here, the trials is half decent as well. Its not that remote, you have to realise, its good for everyone, we up in scotland are in minimal numbers in comparison to in england, so hopefully its finally a comp i can come to. i live in aberdeen so the nearest normal comp is yorkshire tykes which is 7-8hrs drive for me. get your arse's here. i want to enter pro, but i feel i aint good enough, i reckon in a "normal" comp i would enter expert, so what would people reccomend on this. I dont want to be totally annihilated by the other riders, just because i have entered a level too hard for me. i hardly use bash if i can get away with it. So uci is more my style, any reccomendations ben
JIX
I would say if you were going to go for expert, then go for pro. it will be more fun because the obstacles will be really hard. who cares about other riders, just enter the one you think will be more fun. I would say pro for you because you would enter expert.
