Ipod >> Itunes

Hello

My itunes has randomly deleted every song out of the library (itunes ripped ones and mp3s). All the songs are still on my pc, but in itunes. They were nicely sorted out and arranged (a lot of the info was filled in and stuff)

Is there any way of getting the songs off my ipod to my itunes so i don't have to piss about organising stuff again?

Mike

Can't you just restore your PC back a few days so that the songs will still be there? I dunno if you can do that but it's worth a try. (Y)

To do it go to.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. Then pick a date that's in bold then all being well it should be fine. :P

iTunes has a library file that tells it where the files are kept. Can't remember the name, but you might have deleted/moved it.

There are programs that can copy music off the iPod, but the file quality won't be as good because the files are compressed when they are put onto the iPod. Best bet is to try adding all your files back into iTunes from wherever they are kept on your hard drive.
