Gandalf the Yellow
rim drillers don't forget about the MASSIVE RIMTAPES, without them you'd be fixin punchures every ride. and... DMR single speed convertor..... for weight saving and less hassle with stupid gears (tension seeker too!) steve
Tomm
(tension seeker too!) ← No way is that revolutionary. It's crap (Y)
Bionic Balls
Finally, on a slight tangent, I'd say for UK riders, nothing made as much of a difference to the trials world we inhabit than Brian Matthews. He really built so much of what we have now to enjoy. After all the controversy and Brian retiring his position as delegate last year....i think he'd really appreciate that comment. He has done alot in the last 20 years or so... (Y)" BTW....he might be coming back soon (Y) adam

steve sturt
I would regard wheel and cranks as revolutionary. And cassettes. Tyres and inner tubes. Bearings are revolutionary. Anyhting that revolves could be considered.

Tomm
Trials forum. Otherwise what would we be talking on? ← If it wasn't for TF, we'd probably all still be running short bikes with skinny tyres

Waynio
im sorry but up here in yorkshire it has to be the "Pace RC250T" these were and still are one of THE frames that hold the best and one of the lightest tubesets around and is hand made in this country......... Also id say the "Pashley 26MHZ" these 2 bikes/frames sound more like a motorbike.......... B)" ooooooooooooo im sorry but iv probably offended so many people with these old skoolies :P some people might not even know what an RC250T pace trials team frame was or looked like and the 26MHZ christ they were the boys to have back in the day. were probably only talking bout 3years ago maybe 4. but that is just how trials has progressed so quickly!!! BUT it deffinatly has progressed for the better which is kool, but its still nice to look back on "Old Skool" stuff that has made trials. what gave it the kick start we could say. RicH_87
blah blah, back in my day, blah blah fuddy duddy.... Waynio............................ ← hahaha wayne your starting to sound like an old man more and more :P thought you might like this site 'old school trials' some pace rider on there too. errm, can't think of any revolutionary components myself, but i predict the disc is gonna be one to look out for in the future. Maggies will always be the daddy, but discs seem to have come a long way in the past year or so. B)
RyanRs
GT Zascar 14.5 frame....... it was the most 'Trials' suited frame out there before specifics came about. it was the best like 5 years ago!
the666ers
FSA powerpro's with a ringthing (don't know if it's been mentioned) because it was the only way to turn your xc bike into a trials bike spending less that £40. They were shit and we all went through about 6 pairs but they were great nonetheless. James

Sponge
The mod bashplate lol... a street rider's 3rd tyre as it were :) . The bashplate is revolutionary, from my experiences, bashplates are easier to use, they protect the bike more than a bashring and sit better than a bashring can (Y)" ...
