Many of you read my Post about riding stress.

Alot of usefull things were said, and taken on board.

If riden with my Ipod, and some really aggressive music,

Bleeding Through

As I Lay Dying

November Coming Fire ect

and this help me get more phyched for riding.

Ive been leaving all the big stuff alone, and trying smaller thing, and doing them in different ways from before.

And Ive been generaly more chilled when riding, if I dont make something after a few attempts, ill leave it.

I fell that this advise has helped soo much, as I know enjoy riding again, and am improving differnt techniques more.

Ie, went riding today, and nailed a 9ft gap, static, and with momentum (gaps accros to benches, so cant roll it)

Sidehopping seems more controled, and generaly riding and having fun again.

So, I want to say thanks, to everyone that helped, and gave good solid advise to me, not only on here, but on MSN aswell

THANKS

One of the best rides I had was yesterday in the rain. I had decided that due to the slippery conditions and not-so-good braking that I wouldn't try anything big or near my limits - instead I practiced things that I knew were well within my limits. I found this refreshing and enjoyable, as I didn't fall off and get pissed off, and I didn't feel pressure to try and nail 'benchmark' sidehops/taps to prove to myself I could still do them.

I think leaving things that you can't do is a good idea (like you say). There seem to be two attitudes to this... some people say that if you don't keep trying, you won't ever learn things. I.e. they think it would be best to have 20-30 attempts until something breaks. I think this is stupid - I would rather have 3-4 attempts and then come back another day/time.

I think it's easy to forget that we all ride for fun. If it stops being fun, move to a different spot and try something else! Works for me (sometimes) anyway...

P.S. I particularly liked the star/rainbow combo on the blue bear. Thanks for that.
