RyanRs Posted July 29, 2005 Report Share Posted July 29, 2005 Well?? i have tryed putting the caliper in a vice and pulling it out with molegrips.. and i have tryed pumping them out with the syringe.... the syringe snapped in the end! Luke Drewery Posted July 29, 2005 Report Share Posted July 29, 2005 They dont just pull out, they have a lip on the end as they are designed not to come out for safety reasons. If they pulled out then everytime you pulled the lever they would just fall out! Everytime i have had knackered pistons i had to buy the whole caliper for one side (piston, body etc) as they dont sell pistons seperately.
