Rich Pearson
Just spoke to Clive yesterday; Look out in the next couple of issues of MBUK for the 609 with crazy special headtube design. Apparently its the same kind of model which he started to think about after James (Porter) snapped his frame from doing front taps, and now its finally been finished. Can't remeber whose got it but I'm sure you'll see it round soon. Plus my somewhat different double disc machine should be finished within a week/10 days... Its gonna be good... :( Rich Edited July 29, 2005 by karsonlevoret

Mark W
i really want a 245in bike what is a good cheap frame to get and i also have a king bmx hub could i use this on a 24in wheel taking frame?? thankoo ← 245"? You're even beating Gary Fisher's 29"ers with that B) Right: King BMX hubs won't fit in the majority of 24" frames, unless you specifically ask for BMX hub spacing on a custom Curtis (maybe Leeson too?) frame. King BMX hubs are 110mm wide, like mod hubs, but stock/mtb hubs are 135mm wide. So yeah, basically, you'd have to splay your frame out half an inch either side. Good luck with that one :shifty: There aren't any cheap 24" frames at the moment, which is gay. You're looking at £350-ish+ for every frame, unless you buy second hand. Mitch has got a full 24" bike up for sale for £400 incl. a free paint job, but that's one of the few I've seen. Sucks to be in the "Want a 24"" club :D
Ali C
I am wanting a 24" to mess about on, but seeing though I have little money, I have set my self a task of building one for under £100 if possible (using some of my old parts, bars, stem etc) I am gonna make my own frame (well, get Iolo to actually weld it for me the jammy git!) I think the local dump is going to become my fave place to get stuff (Y)
