Transfering Files From....

Recommended Posts

Well i just got me a laptop for storing all my music on in my bedroom because im really tired of the amount of CD's i have and frankly a laptop has much more uses to it than just storing and playing the music.

Right the problem is i have 1000's of tracks all on an XP based computer and i need to get them onto the other computer. Ok so the simplest way would probably be burning a load of discs and copying them over to it but i would really like to avoid that if possible.

Is there some way of using a cable to connect the two computers together so that the files can just be easily transferred across?

any help would be great.
