matheprat
Right, I have a Hope mini, number 3 caliper, and a 185mm wavey rotor. My understanding is that to use the Hope mini on the Koxx forks, I will need to get a rotor 20mm bigger than the one it's supposed to go with as the mount is funny. Can someone clarify this before I buy a 205mm rotor? Will it all work? Many thanks, Mat
AdamR28
You'll need a 215mm rotor. Adam
Trebor
Plus I'm not selling you mine for £5 (Y)
Waynio
its plus 30mm like adam has specified the disc size for you. Waynio......................
matheprat
Ok, cheers guys. Hehe nah, don't want yours at all now mate  And where can I get such a rotor? Does the it matter whether its wavey or straight? Are they both classified as the same size? Cheers, Mat Edited July 26, 2005 by matheprat
Bigman
You'll need a 215mm rotor. Adam ← its plus 30mm like adam has specified the disc size for you. Waynio...................... ← U both are wrong, sorry to tell u this, The koxx forks in question are a set that i am sellin him, they require a 180mm rotor, if a 160m caliper is used, as my mate used a 160mm shimano XT 4 pot, and he had to use a 180mm rotor on the forks, unlike the 190mm he used on his previous koxx forks. Trebor
Probably best off ringing Koxx then, it'll only take a minute
Waynio
no he is actually correct. i remmeber fred offering me a set with a 190mm rotor or 180mm rotor i apologise sincerly bigman  B) so if that is affecting his sale i will take it all back and have to say that Bigman is correct. Waynio........................ i dont know the reason why but the forks are the same just slight different rotor sizes required :o :P

It's not affecting the sale, I've allready sent the money off and would be happy with the forks eather way, just trying to get the right rotor sorted B). I will contact Koxx, but you guys recon its a +20? So I will need a 205mm rotor? Cheers
philking
If the forks are 2004 or older then it is plus 20mm, if they are 2005 then it is plus 30mm. They changed it again this year for the new hope trial brake. I know this is correct as i have had both... so there!
Waynio
gud stuff phil. yes you would need a 20+ disc so if a caliper number 3 on an old mini it would have takn a 185 would take with koxx forks 205  :o Waynio...............
