JoNnY__Mc
hey everyone... iv bin riding trials for just over 3 months now so my knowledge about the trials trade isn't the greatest so i need your help in helping my friend choose a decent bike... but you see i have to help him otherwise he'll buy something not so good from halfords... some x-rated bike or something... :D my friend is interested in starting trials and he has a fairly big budget of 250-350 with 400 as an absolute maximum... i have shown him such bikes as the saracen mad and onza t-raptor as i think they are pretty cheap and good value for money. does anyone have any other suggestions as good decent starter bikes for around 300? the bike must have fairly decent bits on it (well for a beginner) and should have a good set of brakes... preferably maguras hes not too fussy on buying a second hand bike and he doesn't want to buy off ebay or from this forum :turned: ... so if you could give us a direct link to a website or something... TheMunn
The new saracen bike's are quite good, onza bike's are also worth a look, you could always keep your eye out for a decent second hand bike aswell.
Brian Bleech
new saracen stocks are pretty decent - the frame is the same on all off them and the price just reflects the conponent set. Avoid the saracen mod though! The other option is onza really. hes not too fussy on buying a second hand bike and he doesn't want to buy off ebay or from this forum ... so if you could give us a direct link to a website or something... This is by far your best option for buying a second hand trials bike online...sorry

Waynio
at the £££ hes looking second hand is going to be the best way to look. t-raptor or t-rex is a good value for money price to buy a new one at. OR if you want second hand your best buying off here as most people are good and will sell you something in good condition. and if its nakerd you can just tell the forum how someone has ripped you off if it comes to that. glad to hear he is keeping away from ebay!!!! we get bikes in all the time that are absolutly F**KT!!!!the service costs more than the bikes are worth!!!!your going to get a better deal off someone off here or you would have thort so anyway Waynio....................
