Yes tar does work with all brakes but I dont think that people are stupid enough to test new brake pads with tar! ;) (Y)
AdamR28
I dont think that people are stupid enough to test new brake pads with tar! Going to find myself a nice fresh chunk of tar now to give these pads a good testing! (Y)

James_Porter
thats the new heatsink ones i gather? doesnt look like there is a hell of a lot of pad material on there to be honest.
Rob_P
Thats a fairly good point sir! But these are only prototypes i'd imagine so if there any good then I expect them will some with more as heatsinks normally come with atleast 8-10mm of pad! george_bush
There test pads so there doesn't have to be allot of pad material. The pads look good though. Thanks Sam.

Heatsink
Those test pads are 6mm, which is the same as Plazmatics I believe. You're right they don't look very thick compared to the 10 and 8mm ones, but rather bizarrely, them being thinner can actually mean they last longer! James_Porter
does this mean that we are seeing a change to 6mm heatsink pads?
picki
that blue colour is super nice.... more pad material will cause the rubber to vibrate slightly? less pad = less vibration hope all goes well with testing and those blue babies are avaliable.... mega work lads (Y)
AdamR28
Those test pads are 6mm, which is the same as Plazmatics I believe. ← Indeed, and Koxx, plus others. Theres a theory, as Steve hinted, that thicker pads may wear MORE quickly than thinner ones, due to the 'float' while using an HS33 brake. This allows them to wear at an angle, which is bad for wear life. It may be, therefore, that the other 'expensive' pads are thin for such reason, rather than the company being stingy! We shall see (Y)
