mooresy
hi all i posted a topic a while back about me foldin a front koxx rim and now i am looking for a replacement. I am woundering weather or not to get a onza ronnie rim for the front or a reggie but in my own opinion i think that the reggies are to small and the ronnies are about 2mm wider than the koxx front rims .Please help me choose cause im in 2 minds thanks mooresy :)
chrishayton
if your running a disc then just get a mavic d521/ex729 and ur sorted, otherwise an echo or another try all rim
mooresy
i wanted to try an onza rim and then use nitromorse to strip the paint and get it in silver and i dont like the koxx rims becasue they are very weak and i go to front wheel alot mooresy :)
Alexxx
would suggest the ex729 nice wide disc only mavic, and you can always drill it out if you want. But if your looking at the onza's then personally i would get the ronnie

They are annosized. 2nd thing, a ronnie on the front will be HEAFTY! Iv had a drilled D521 on the front and that was pretty good, then I got an echo but never really liked how it looked so now I'm about to order a Sun Singletrack and drill it  Sam

Endohopper
Any ideas if a Koxx front rim ( 26") would be suitable for use on the rear ? I ask because there's no way I could set up a V-Brake on a super wide rim , and would ride it fairly lightly . Apologies for thread hijack .
