haydon_peter
Now the bad bit. Insurance is group 8 which initially i thought wasn't bad. BUT a mate got a pug 306 estate (dont ask) his is the 2.0HDI and is very quick (done about half the miles mine has) same bhp, basically same torque, same top whack, same 0-60 but his is group 5. ARGH. Now I guess its due to mine being a more desirable car (i think so more stealable) but it is a bit frustrating knowing i'm being charged so much for insurance when its definatly not because its much quicker car. ← HAHAH Dont ask :deej: Or you could compare your car to mine, 306 5 door hatch, 90bhp, no where near as much torque (So slower 0-60) but a higher top speed by 1mph :deej: My 1997 1.6 306 LX Hatch Your 1996 1.9TDI Golf TDI Hatch Mike's 1999 2.0HDI 306 Estate HAHA Apparently Mike's estate beats my car and 0-60 but overall beats both our cars top speeds! It doesnt have as high a street cred/nickability rating as our cars but it beats us hands down in shopping storage space :bunny:
