Bottom Bracket Size ?

ok iv got a problem with my bike need a much longer bb

so what do people run on them also whats the widest bb you can buy ?

I know you can buy a 112.5, possibly a 127.5, the widest you can but possibly will be a 127.5 73 mm shell E-type, then space it out on the driveside.

BB length vastly depends on chainring size, but 22T requires a 127.5.

well yeh as Adam said 127.5mm is the best but also get the bb spacer to make sure (Y)

you could bodge a shorter one(around 118mm+) with maybe 2 or 3 spacers but tiz not really advised. my mate did this on a trex but it creaked a fair bit, and came loose offen as there isnt as much thread in the frame. :)

i had similar problem with my bt.....recomended 127.5 x 73mm shell.

there near on impossible to find.

i have managed to cram a old shimano 122 x 73 on and its just about right. will need to carefully set up the maguras as they are the stickiest out bits. its all fair and good plonking them on and them clearing the frame...as i found out with a 118 axel.

im pretty sure you cant get 127.5 x 73 anywhere anymore. you can get 127.5 x63 though.

if not your gonna have to go isis...bigmans selling some that i was oing to have off him till i found a bb (Y)"
