dmil1489
Last night when we were out riding I popped my magura hose B) (rear) I understand I now need a new oliv but they are really hard to get off but is it easy to get one back on? I can just cut the hose off and then put a new oliv on yeh?? Thanks Spud (N)
Alexxx
Cut the hose then pop the olive on then put the nut which screws into the cylinder on, then just tighten it up should be all sorted then. After doing that just need to bleed the brake. Alex
Luke Drewery
Cut off the hose near the end then push the olive in tight and reassemble the hose to the caliper. Rebleed and give the lever a squueze to make sure there are no leaks. Its a good idea to invest in braided hosing if you break hoses a lot, they are bombproof and look good too. I have had mine for about a year and a half and havent rebled my brake once without a single problem. They are cosmetically damaged but their functionality is intact. Simpson
yep everyone was telling me an olive had to go onside the hosing! but i doesn't it just slides on top and helps to keep pressure in the hosing thats all. I also had trouble getting them think my friend found them on tarty for like a quid good luck mate!
