trialsriderjim
hi im just asking what frame you think is better a koxx levelboss 1065 04 or a zoo pitbull 1065 04.I like both bikes but koxx is the best for me. So can you lot tell me what you think of frames, what they ride like, any one ever snaped or cracked one cheers jimmy Edited July 17, 2005 by gregtria
RyanRs
seems everyone wants to compare the Pitbull to some other frame.... im not nagging, i did it myself with the GU.. Sooo. maby instead of everyone individually posting another topic of 'What frame shall i get.. Pitbull Vs ....' maby someone could put up a Sticky Poll of all the avaliable frames , so we can all vote for what we prefer?? -bit like the brake Pads bit just an idea. -personally i think the pitbull 04 is abit dated, but i dont no the KOXX so i dont kno, altho the 20" levelboss is sweet! Sameer
Firstly, wrong section of the forum. Secondly, I'm assuming by your incompetance that you are new to the trials world. Assuming this, either frame would be of equal use to you. New riders are not in the position to give a f**k about slight differentials in geometry, and if you somehow do... don't. I don't know the prices of either frame, but that's all you need to answer your question. Sorry if you're intimidated by this post, or the tone in which you perceive it to have been typed in, but you'd only otherwise have gotten a load of 'nice' answers that wouldn't actually mean anything to you and realistically be of no use to you. You are still learning. Both frames will help at the same rate because you cannot compare either one since you probably lack experience in riding different types of frames, thus have no preferential geoemtry that may boost your learning curve. So yeah, price and prettiness. Both of which you can decide for yourself. *goes off to smell a flower*

RyanRs
if you are a new rider, without much experience... Get a Saracen x-ile frame. you could prob get one for nuffin, £10 at the most.. i been riding 3 years and i see newbies on pitbulls, vincos etc and i can still do loads more stuff than them on a x-ile.(altho i dont actually own one at present) Learn the basics , do some frame damaging dropoffs (as all newbies do them) and once you find yourself trying to tap a 45" wall or gap a 7-8ft + gap, then think about getin some 'Specialist tools' Trust, it will be a LOT cheaper on the long run! Siders77
Jim, don't ask for this topic to be closed just because of some idiot having a go at you. (Y) Jim isn't a 'Newbie' to trials. He's quite good at it from the pics I've seen of him. Sameer I don't want to get into an argument with you but was there really and need to post that?! Phwoar. We should have a 'back to NMC' icon. Kinda like the 'banned' one, don't you think? Could come in handy for those 'which brake pads' or 'which bike' etc posts. chrishayton
koxx levelboss, the nicest riding frame around! (in my oppinion) strong but abit of flex so nice on natural. the pitbull is quite heavy at the back end although neil tunnicliffe doesn't seem to mind
