Mr Motivator
File your stem smooth around the edges where the bars go through to get rid of the sharp edge which promotes premature bar snappage.
joker
buy some easton's and when you fit them, grease the interface between the stem clamp and the bars (Y)
Shaun H
buy some easton's and when you fit them, grease the interface between the stem clamp and the bars :P ← (Y) I'm not entirely sure if you're being serious or not :)
joker
wait for someone you trust/respect by all means, but anywhere where there is a metal on metal interface, a bit of grease is allways a good idea.

ScotchDave
About the bars... that's exactly where mine snapped. Get some Azonics. ← I know someone who snapped a set of azonics putting his front wheel on a bench to do a wheelswap. (Y) We looked for the smooth black part where they had been cracked, but there wasn't one. :) Then just snapped. rich4130
I must be soo weak because I got some singlewalls off ebay about 6 months ago, and today, I looked down them and pulled out some muelisi bar rapper thing, the sell by was 2002 haha, so chances are the bars are 3 years old. I love the shape, with them right forward, they bend up, love 'em, Eastons feel weird to me, they bend down
Si-man
Mate snapped some singlewalls, I think they were anyway, doing a wheeli/manual down the road
Sam Nichols
Just cut your bars down nice and short then there's less leverage on the bars and less chance of snappering  Plus you'll be uber streety (Y)
PaRtZ
Mate snapped some singlewalls, I think they were anyway, doing a wheeli/manual down the road  ← eeeek! Unlucky with the bars mate. to be honest I'd recommend wating for some money and getting new ones as a ) They'll be stronger B ) They'll be a change. Surely you get bored with the same thing all the time? I changed my bars (club roost sport ones) for onza ones ( :o ) so far so good (Y) lol Edited July 15, 2005 by PaRtZ
