mafu26
Hey, am looking for a new stem for my ashton et. I'm running a monty 231XL stock stem at the mo with echo bars. I'm finding it really hard to get the front up when bunny hopping! any ideas as to a shorter stem i could run instead of this one? was thinking 90mm but dunno how much rise? i'm quite a short fella too... cheers
Brian Bleech
hi matt dude, I think you wanna be getting something around 90mm (ish) , but with a similar degree rise to your monty stem! does anyone know what degree rise that is? Probably 15-25 degrees but ain't sure Mike edit: yeah get some risers matt though - ea50s are nice and cheap and strong and a high rise stem (Y) you will also get to see matt ride in the upcoming damnation 5......sorry shameless plug Edited July 13, 2005 by leedstrials
rich4130
I have a set of Azonic Singlewalls and a Thomson 90mm/15deg rise stem on mine. I say get rid of the bar and and stem, and get your self some risers (azonic/easton) and a nice 90mm stem with plenty of rise (Kore/thomson) Feel much better. Hope that helped!
