I think my cousts are the dogs dangleys, they have been for the last 4 1/2 months too! The wear rate is a amazing theyre not even half the way through yet, they also work amazing on a koxx rim! (Y) I have only tried them on a deep deep grind though, but they been excellent for me...

Cheers,

Joe.

after eventually wearing out my red heatsinks (which were exellent) I am now using my old red bloxx.

I used to have them on a hog rim with the harshest grind I could get. The brake was good, but not exellent. Now I have them on a sun doublewide with an old grind (still rough) and its almost like having tar! This brake works sooo well, there is no modualtion, just power which suits me nicley.

They are wearing pretty fast though.

i felt like a change.....don't burn me for this, but i thought i'd try the viz pads.

They looked just like plaz crm in the photo, but i asked and Dan said that they are slightly softer....anyways, they were just about the cheapest pads around (save rimjam, but mine snapped :P ) so i gave 'em a go.

I've never tried crms on my bike (have on others), but compared to my old rimjam blue/koxx brown experiences, these pads bite and lock much better (clean rim, dead grind on dx32). These also appear to have more pad material than the CRMs/koxx/rimjam.

Anyways...i was pleased.

And, no- i'm not sponsored (Y)

Edit: looks like we're talking front brakes too....

as above- heatsink (clear) on the alu backings (Y) . Smooth mavic f519, had 'em since they came out ( i think i was one of the first batch). Bite and lock, and they haven't worn noticeably at all! Probably due to the smooth rim though...

lol, my mate has some honigs on the back, they never slipp with him, but always with me (Y) i think his rear brake isnt as pwerful as mine is (his is 04 and mine is 05)

I have some koxx brown on the rear on a really rough grind, they are really good, but if you dont pull it hard, it slipps sometimes.

Hey Rob, don't you mean you both have the 'K'onigs which are the red moulded pads?

I don't think I've sent you any of these newer ones in a golden colour, hence the (very similar sounding) code name 'H'onig (check this out in your German dictionary!)

Nope, hes rite, I have the honigs, they are the best pads i have ever used (Y) , but seem to wear fast on a light but sharp grind :P

If only they never wore down as fast, then they would be great (Y)

cheers
