Tensile Bash?

Clamp the bashring in a vice, and turn the crank arm with a mallet/big bit of pipe (N)

Tried, and tested. :lol: :P

That's what i did anyway, well, my dad did. If you haven't got a mellet, use a lump of wood and a normal hammer.

Alternatively, you can take everything off the bashring, and then put 4 strong bolts through some of the pre-drilled holes, then clamp that bit in the vice. It can help keep the bashring steady and stop it from spinning loads, which I found was a bit of a problem when I was trying to remove mine.
