I thought NASS ruled! :) to Matt for the win, Nice one dude :angry: That section did sorta spoil the feel of NASS but still if there was another run just like the others, I mean there wouldn't be a great deal more to do as everyone in the comp busted their arses in each and every round.

sounds like it a good thing i didnt go, the people who go changed from only sports/music fans like 2/3yrs ago to chavs with mini-moto's, last year put me off big time. and if i did go i wuda stayed with todge and them lot :).

Sure enough, that is harsh, but if you leave all that stuff unattended you're asking for it to be taken.

Things like this get posted on forums and give NASS a bad name. I've been three years running and I've never known anyone to have anything nicked, apart from reading about it on here.

me and the bath lot went for saturday only, me and adrian (bath trials) both did the competition, i did begginer (because of my cripple leg i was limeted to stuff) and adrian did inter. we both thought it was ace. one thing that we could all not understand though is how can you have a tie in a competition like that, what the judges should have done was sat down and discussed who did what betta imo. but all in all was brilliant and will defo be goin next year. :P (N)

The NASS competition this year was run with a computerised scoring system to make it as fair as possible.

Score sheets from Martyn Ashton, Ot Pi & Cesar Canas were entered into a specially designed excel spreadhseet which totalled the scores for each rider based on Style, Technique, Innovation and Showmanship.

All Entrants had the opportunity to show their talents to the judges for 3 minutes and the three highest scoring Riders were then given the opportunity to compete again in a Grand Final for the judges to make their final decision as to who should take the prize.

The Expert final was particularly close and as those who witnessed it will remember the judges felt that it was just too close to call.

A ride off was called between the 2 top riders being Matt & Sam. However, although Sam tried his best he was disadvantaged by the fact that his bike had broken in the previous final and so he was forced to use someone elses.

Sam valiantly attempted to ride the difficult course set out by Ot Pi, but on a bike that he was not used to this proved to be too difficult. It was therefore decided to revert to the scores from the original round to decide the winner which showed that Matt had stolen vistory by only 5 clear points.
