peter l
In the near future, I plan on having a custom peyto built(canada's leeson). I'm a streety trials rider, I ride tons of street and skate parks. On my new frame, I'm considering using bmx 110mm spacing so I can run bmx hubs. Do you think this is a good idea? I have an white industries trials freewheel and I'd probably mount that to a profile ss rear hub. People have been telling me to go for a casset hub though. The eno is pretty solid and I've never had any problems with it so I dont see any problem with keeping it. I'm about 135 lbs and I'm pretty smooth, however I like solid bikes(but still light) so do you think its a good idea, why or why not. thanks alot
rich4130
Sounds good to me, I run a rear freewheel hub, DMR Revolver, which is basically the same as a bmx screw on type, just 135mm spacing and its great. Get a light race bmx hub I would say, 10mm axels, sorted. Rich.
Tony Harrison
If you're going to have 110mm spacing I'd advise you use a cassette hub. The Odyssey ones aren't bad if you don't want to stretch to a Profile.

Go Freewheel.
ScotchDave
I'd say get a 135 mm spacing, simply cos it's more flexible, you can always run singlespeed on 135, but you can't run gears on a 110 if you should ever want to go back.
