ScotchDave
Hmmm clever, I don't know many people that have had trouble with the bearings in euro bbs, it's more when they dent the bb sheel they're f**ked.
AdamR28
The principals of combination bearings is not a new one, the system has been well tested in thousands of more industrial applications Its used in Chris King hubs. Should work well.

quick_spider
Looks very similar to my M950 XTR Bottom bracket. I've had no problems with that, although they're on an xc bike so probably under less strain. Jon

Are the Shimano ones all sealed now? I guess this is to stop user servicing to you have to buy a new one when it wears out... Does anyone know of an ISIS BB using this system? All the ones I've looked at have been standard single/double cartridge bearings. Jon
