JIX
I want to replace my front d521 with something wider. I would like to stick with mavic on the front because they are awsome rims. My d521 is 28mm wide I believe, so my question is; What is the widest rim mavic do?? I have looked on websites but cant find many width's and weights. If you could help out please. Links would be nice if poss.

Spoke lengths are different - 2mm longer for the EX729

AdamR28
Do you know how light you managed to get yours adam?? ← Bout 550g I think. Got a pic somewhere, but nothing decent, sorry. It just looks like a 2.35" Maxxis on a 36mm wide rim, lol.
JIX
So not as light as a drilled 521 then. Are the front echo rims really only 28mm wide??
AdamR28
Depends how big the holes are! Echo front rims are 29mm wide.
James_Porter
front echo rims are pretty much the same as a 521 jamie so there is no point in changing to that if the only reason your changing is cause you want the width. just get the 321 or what ever they call it, you will get used to the weight you ponse (Y) , jezz :S
dave33
what about the mavix 325 disc rim how wide is that ?
