Maybe the EU can sort out f**king chav problem out. We'll just go down as being a proper shithole after this, who knows what will happen but I can't wait to see :-

Michael Hardman
Maybe the oney they spend will improve the f**king good damm auwful public transport system. It would seem a logical idea to imprve stratford station and the surrounding ones, why stop there.

AdamR28
Maybe the money they spend will improve the f**king good damm auwful public transport system. ← Crikey, if London's is bad, I dunno what you'd call the Public Transport System up here :- When we came down to London, we were astounded by the quality/price/speed/reliability of the trains! pinky
People surrounding london are actually paying more taxes for this.. or it could be businesses not so sure on that, and its not like most businesses are gonna benefit from the olympics :- pinky
Michael Hardman
I remeber hearing in one of my lectures that there is supposed to be a 1:4 ratio when it comes to funding. So for every public pound given £4 should be given by the private sector for a given project. Its never the case though.

Everything was pretty much on time in London. We have 3 buses a day here, if we're lucky. Two trains go through here too :P

More planes run from Manchester to London in a day than that. Jesus christ. And the trains are always really early or really late.

Lukeee
Who couldn't have a joygasm at news that London is having yet more millions of OUR money thrown at it? :- ← Actually most of the money is coming from London tax payers. Mark W
Don't worry Lukey babe, when it comes to September I'm away :- I don't really have a beef with where I live. It's not the best, but it's more just the fact that basically, in Wales all the money is spent on f**king Cardiff, and in England it's pretty much just London. It's just that there's this huge disparity between where money is needed and where it's spent.
Lukeee
Cool , Anywhere nice? I spose its supply and demand , i.e. more people in Cardiff and London means more people to tax , which leads to better public services. Can't wait for the Bmx racing its gonna rule. I'm just glad we beat the French i hate there negative attitude to all things British. I would like to have seen go to Moscow or Madrid.
