Ben Geary
the standard magura one has served me well, but if i had a choice between all of them it would have to be the echo team. thanks, ben. :turned:

N.Wood
Tartybikes Select bikes Cleanbikes Bikedock Ebay There's a few.. The Shimano XTR boosters are no longer made, but can be picked up in the for sale section on here, or on Ebay (Y)
Tony Harrison
I always found the Magura boosters (like their pads) work perfectly. I think half the problems people have with brakes are due to poor setup rather than bad components. As far as aftermarket boosters go, I really like the Carbonique one as it's light and stiff. Mr Motivator
Standard steel magura booster.
Trials Boy
Why did they stop making XTR Boosters? (Y)
N.Wood
Not enough money in it i guess... With the advent of affordable disk brakes theres no real market for them anymore. Trials riders arn't a big enough market, i doubt Mr Shimano even knows what trials is. The cast must still be around somewhere though... Bennnn
What about a good ole Threshold booster and cut it down to a two bolt. I'm not sure if they sell them over there in the U.K. though...
N.Wood
Nah we don't get Threshy's over here... They're the same as the older style Echo boosters though (Y)
Trebor
Well, people saying that the Magura is the best booster are wrong, they're good boosters none the less, but I doubt that they could compare to an XTR in terms of flex-stoppage. Out of them all I'd say the XTR is the best, though I've not tried them all, but a booster is a booster, and as others have said, it won't make or break your brake ( (Y) )
