MikeWarner
I am interested in buying a pair of these in the long version as my frame is designed for 100mm travel suppension forks. Does anyone know how much they weigh? Also, there are three colours available, but I have yet to see an image of the mat black ones - does anyone have one? What would be the widest front tyre I could fit with this fork? What other forks are around at around the 420mm+ length that I should consider? Many thanks. Brian Bleech
The knifens are pretty heavy, if you go for them get the 'knifen superlights' while not being superlight, they drop a fair bit of weight off the standard knifens - not sure of the weight (I think its around 1200kg - but don't quote me)! As for the front tire the knifens (and all the forks Dave mentioned) will be able to fit a wide enough tire in it. Something between 2.1 - 2.35 is pretty good. Twilite
One and Two Two piccys of matt black knifens for you. I had a pair before, didn't have any trouble with them really, heavy, but damn strong, only thing was the laquer all cracked and made them look all scaley, that was on the chrome ones and could have been something to do with the batch or my poor upkeep of my bikes! MikeWarner
I'd go for the lighter ones - 1700g is way too heavy! Cheers for the photos. (Y)
