Siders77
I think everyone has, Sam! Mine snapped. So I just got some V8's :)

Twilite
Mine got completely destroyed, both cages bent and snapped, but only because I didn't keep the bolts tight and they fell out, leaving nothing to stop it bending. Got a new set, kept em tight, and had no problems. Can't fault them for the price really!
Ben Geary
mine twisted and snapped and allsorts
Matthews
i snapped my outa cage and inner cage and the base so i got a few zip ties and jammed them on  worked for about 5 mins ONZA shin digs are beast! :)
TomN
Cages bending in abit, and also teeth but i perfer these to platform pedals though the Shin Digs I do quite like.
Mr Motivator
I had V8s and loved them, then I got VPs and love them even more. The cages flex on drop gaps but I like that. I dont go to pedal much either so theyre perfect and nice n light and cheap. A few pointy bits have bent but I just bent them back with an adjustable spanner  Sam Edited July 3, 2005 by Sam@SouthTrials
Dan6061
outer cage snapped when i was riding on a kerb  other snapped on the bus boot :) so my mate gave me his old V8's for free!! missing half the pins but still grip. :P
dave33
fatmike broke my vp's he still hasnt replaced them  but they are good, as long as you dont go to pedal very much, vince uses them :)
TheMunn
No problem's with mine, the end of the cage is a little bent but nothing major.
JT!
Mine are shit, and offer more grip than a granny on ice. Thats what BUI does to them.
Freddie
Mine snapped, bent, the jagged bits on top actually bent down flat and the bolts constantly came undone. Perfect if you like a hard life. Edited July 3, 2005 by Freddie
SQuiT-man
Ive had 3 or 4 pairs, only snapped one cage on one of them and I ride pretty harsh I would say (although I DONT go to pedal really). They are fine as long as you keep the bolts tight on the cages, they seem to tend to undo slowly on one of two of the bolts per pair of pedals, so make sure you check them every several rides to keep them tight. I think Hognesiums will be my next choice, amasing pedals as long as you ride UCI (I ride UCI street :turned: )
joe b
I think everyone has matey. But i think the monty vp pedals are made out of a stronger aluminium than the onza's, koxx etc... hence why they cost more! Cheers, Joe.

Apart from the labelling an the price! (Y)" Get some DMR V8's, I wont go back to VP's, no grip on them compared to V8's :turned:
TheChai
u can get VP 7005 instead of the other vp458 (not too sure) the VP 7005 are ones that come on monty TIs.. and they are much longer lasting. it is only the cage that is different though
Burton
No problem's with mine, the end of the cage is a little bent but nothing major. ← Same here :turned: They're just generally awesome pedals. Cheap, light, grippy in all conditions(unlike V8/V12s IMO) and reliable. I just replace mine after every 4-5months (Y) Ive never broken a pair. Bent cages here and there, but never snapped them off, or snapped axles, etc.
Damon W
well mine are awesome, and i land on em alot when i miss sidehops and taps ect ect, never ever snapped, just bent, and still ace grip, i was gonna go down the hognesium route after i lost loads of grip, but found it was just my shoes tread had worn to much. mint pedals buy em!! :- Edited July 6, 2005 by Dw@Hulltrials
