My Eno Freewheel

Well i´ve had my eno for about a month or so now and it seems to be running nice and smooth but i read somewhere on here that after the first few weeks of having one you should clean it out and re grease it and it works even better,(i think it was onzaboymark not entirley sure though) now my question is do i need to do anything to it or should i just leave it how it is? (working fine)

I was thinking maybe i could get it working even smoother and better than it is already, im sure it must need servicing at some point if so how? just being on the safe side here i want to keep it in good condition as it is a rather expensive freewheel. (i got it for 50 quid including p&p (Y) still a lot of money for me! )

Thanks for any replies (Y)

What happens is when the bearings get bedded it they tend to ooze grease into the main part of the freewheel.

This is bad, as the grease acts as a lubricant, so the pawles tend to slip back more. Aka your freewheel skipping.

If your freewheel is fine, don't bother. If you find that it's starting to skip more than usualy, open it up, and clean it all out.
