There are some middleburns which are 18t which work for Mod's. Talk to Calops (on here).

He's just ordered some (Y)

Middleburns are normaly too long.

It's between tensiles and the zoo's. Both good cranks. Pick your potato.

I'm pretty sure the Tensiles are stiffer (hence Monty copying them (Y)), and have replaceable pedal threads, plus the option of having the nicely splined UCI ring, and so on. Oh, and a warranty which actually means something!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd go Tensiles every time. Oh, and have gone Tensiles too (Y)"

There were some Middleburns out that were sold on Tartybikes at a deal price, 'cos they were 16t. Might be able to try and sort something for you I guess, regarding 18t-age... Heckle Dave/Adam and expect a response on Monday when they're both back.

A bit off topic but is there anyway to avoid gettink chunks out of your ankles from the tensiles?

There really starting to piss me off and keep hitting in the same spot.

they dont feel sharp but do when they cut into my ankle lol (Y).

So can you get middleburns with an 18 t ring?

because you can get the cranks in most sizes there smooth, strong have a niice chunky bash and a very good warantee.

i wouldnt mind switching to save my legs if possible.

Yeah, put your feet on the pedals properly.

some people have grinded the sides down but don't grind too much as one did and snapped later on.

I found since I got some non-shit pedals (i.e. not VPs), that my feet were held far enough away 'cos of the length of the spindle. With my X-pedals, my feet are pretty far away anyway, so they just don't come into contact...
