Extreme_biker0
Is it a copy? Does your computer have more than one drive and are you putting it in one that is actually a DVD drive and not a cd drive? (speaking from experience)

Extreme_biker0
Nah, all dvd's should be standard mpeg-2 encoded. Although maybe it is the wrong region and your dvd player is locked to a certain region. I'm talking american dvd's here, although i doubt that is the case with a ricky gervais dvd eh? Other than that, tell us what software you are useing etc, then someone might be able to help. If you havnt already tried, try some other software. Windows media player, Real player (don;t get this if you dont already its shit), and Winamp all play dvd's and are free.

Will Arnold
Have you put the disc in the right way up :(" Adam ← bah thats it, it plays now :( cheers man
Simon
bah thats it, it plays now :D cheers man ← You're joking, right? :- Winamp is a music player, its second job is a video player, so don't expect magic from Winamp when it comes to video. What you need is PowerDVD, its free, and played my Gumball DVD which didn't play in Windows Media Player, or my DVD player. Its not a big program either. Google for it, as i can never remember where to get it from, they keep changing management. (Y)
UrbanPoet
Power DVD is certainly the best. WMP was a f**king joke and Winamp didn't want to play ball. I'm sure Power DVD is given away free with a load of DVD drives and on the cover CDs of mags?
Danny
PowerDVD is made by cyberlink and has never been free as far as i know. But it certainly is the best pc dvd software ive tried. Using WMP for dvds is awfull.
