Coloured Rim Tape

Im after some green rim tape, Just wondering what other people use and where they got it from, Can't find green insolation tape :"> Cheers.

Hi i use some blingin gold holographic rim tape on my front hog rim and some holographic chrome rim tape on my rear gold koxx rim.

I got 4 rolls for £2.50 off ebay, green,gold,silver and blue. Its basically for craft use for cards etc. But works great as you just stick it to the rim tape you have already and it works a treat B) .

there a market shop neer us where you can get green insulation tape. try all shops like that and wilkinsons normally seem to have alot of different colours.

You can buy green duck tape I believe as well as red but not blue. Try focus do it all or B&Q as thats where I get my electrical tape from, works a treat.

i use boys blue electrical tape, pretty much the same blue as my hope hubs! its only 49p too or free when my friend is involved!lmao what a guy i mean naughty :(

Onza wide red rim tape about £3 from Tartybikes. If you wanted the strength of proper rim tape, but the colour of normal tape, you could stick some coloured insulation tape over the bottom of the proper tape so it shows through the drilled holes, maybe.

What I done is got a white plastic bag and cut strips of it until it fiited around my ronnie rim and it looks very good you might want to try this if you can get a green bag and can't find any green tape.

I use these VIZ rim strips. Very nice and durable. :(

There are loads of bright green rolls of electrical tape kicking about the workshop, can sort some out for you to use. You Pimp. And its the green colour you want :(

I run red koxx rim tape on my rear koxx drilled rim and it works perfectly, durable, looks good and weighs nothing :(

I can remember from a while back that michelin make green rim tape but its hard to get hold of...

I use a yellow bit of tape in every other hole then run red tape round soo it goes yellow red yellow red yellow ect.. :(" then an old inner tube cut up and glued togeather :( .

I use grey insulation tape from my local cheapy shop, i chose grey because i´ve never seen anyone use it before :( :(

i just use bog standard rim tape thats white,is there any special reason for multicoloured or is it for people with drilled rims

I use some tape that comes in a pack of 6 from some shop in town 45p for 6 rolls of different coloured tape, i use it to tape up my socks for rugby, and for my wheels aswell, it feels pretty much the same material as rim tape.

I use lightweight tape: It has holes drilled in it for weight saving.

If you cant find any, just use electrical tape, that comes in all colours. Just do a few layers.

For silver I used these meal zip ties and then later duct tape.

Going to re do mine boring black soon and change my tyres back over to Montys

A friend of mine used a Slime pinch protector thing for rim tape. That's nice and green. Or use a Hutchinson DH tube with no rim tape at all. Although I would make sure there's no sharp edges on your dodgy far-eastern rims (Y)
