Callipers: Magura 04

Hose: Black Magura

Bleed with: Magura blood

Mounts: 2bolt evolution

Pads: Heatsinks

Rim: Alex DM24 + Tar

Booster: Standard magura 2004 booster

Brake - standard Magura Hs33 (sth around 2003 year) even never rebleeded

Mounts - 4 bolts

Pads - Plaz CRM

Rim - 7 years old DX32 (or Megamo, I'm not sure), smooth, with tar

Booster - Echo 4 bolts (not Control)

Wel done that man, its taken long enough for someone to question the point of this thread.

Anyway it just alittle survey of what people use.  Theres alot more v brake users than I thought

ahhhh i see....

maybe if people would give little comment of the brake, it would be more helpful :(

Mine is......

Lever: Standard Magura with CNC'd lever

Calipers: Standard Magura

Hose: Magura black

Bleed with: Water

Brake mounts: 4 bolt

Pads: One Plazmatic CRM and One Koxx Bloox (original one)

Rim: Onza Ronnie with a medium grind

Booster: none

your only running the pads like that because of me (Y)

Lever: Standard Magura with CNC'd lever

Calipers: Standard Magura

Hose: Goodridge

Bleed with: Water

Brake mounts: 4 bolt

Pads: One Plazmatic CRM and One Koxx Bloox (original one)

Rim: Echo CNC with worn out grind

Booster: none

used to work well with a harsh grind but its loosing pwoer now

Hose: Venhill red

Bleed with: Water, really badly, has air in

Brake mounts: 4 bolt

Pads: well over a year old koxx bloxx

Rim: Ronnie with old worn otu grind and tar

Booster: Shimano XTR

It works for me, can't be bothered in making it better.

Cylinders: magura 2003 HS33

Lever: magura 2003 HS33 w/o cnc lever

Hose: standard magura black

Booster: steel standard & outland alu V booster

Pads: plazmatic CRM

Bleed: standard magura blood, only rebled once

Rim: Onza ronnie with grind/worn and maybe tar. depends how i feel and the weather.. it all works amazing.

So basicaly everything standard apart from pads. Feels amazing.

It looks rather worn now though, that pictures nearly a year old.

It worked better than the magura, without the modulation though, but it cost so much money, and the calipers wear out really fast when paired up with a really grabby pad like CRV's.

Its all good when new, can't fault it, but constant cleaning, cable replacing, and general maintainence is time consuming and expensive.

That setup cost £75, But I dread to think how much I've spend on cables, a replacement set of arms, and now the pads need replacing. My magura cost me £22.50 complete..
